Currently, Piyanun serves in dual high-impact leadership positions: as the Managing Director of APUK Co., Ltd., a specialized healthcare IT consultancy she founded to drive digital maturity, and as the Director of Operations (APAC) for Medicomp Systems, where she spearheads regional growth and delivery. Her strategic oversight and hands-on consulting have consistently yielded a 100% project success rate, marked by exceptional client satisfaction across complex implementations in Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
Over her distinguished career, Piyanun has established herself as a key catalyst for landmark digital achievements in the region. As the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Digital Transformation Lead at Princ Paknampo Hospital, she engineered the strategy that led to Thailand’s first-ever HIMSS EMRAM Stage 6 achievement in 2016, followed by Stage 7 in 2019. Building on this momentum, she successfully guided Princ Hospital Suvarnabhumi to achieve the prestigious EMRAM Stage 7 validation in 2024. More recently, as a specialized EMRAM consultant, she guided Malaysia's prestigious Institut Jantung Negara (National Heart Institute) from Stage 0 to the milestone achievement of EMRAM Stage 6 in 2024, culminating in Stage 7 in 2026—representing historic firsts for Malaysia.

Piyanun began her career in clinical nursing at the Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University—a foundation that infuses her technological solutions with deep clinical empathy and utility. She subsequently transitioned into healthcare IT leadership, managing major Health Information System (HIS) overhauls, including leading BNH Hospital’s complete HIS transformation in just nine months.
